1. 강남역 (Gangnam Stn)

The area surrounding the station is an i
mportant commercial and entertainment district.

The station is located at the western end of Teheranno, home to many corporate headquarters and impressive towers, while the area immediately to the north of the station is densely packed with bars, restaurants and clubs.

There are also many shops in the subway station below ground.

In 2007, the area was the 10th most expensive shopping street in the world with an average rent of US$431 per square foot.

The section of Gangnam Boulevard from exit No.2 of this station to exit No.5 of Sinnonhyeon Station of Line 9 is designated as a smoke-free zone by the Gangnam District office.

Also there is SAMSUNG's headquarter near Gangnam Stn.

2. 압구정 & 청담 패션 스트리트 (Apgujeong Rodeo Street, Cheongdam’s Fashion Street)

One of the main shopping area is Apgujeong Rodeo Street, along with 'Cheongdam’s Fashion Street' in Cheongdam-dong and Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong, which are connected by the main Apgujeong-ro, they are seen as fashionable and trendsetting destinations.

The area contains upscale department stores, shops, boutiques, private educations, cafes and restaurants.

Apgujeong Rodeo Street is located opposite the Galleria Department Store, with shops of local and international designers as well as Nori Market, The Vanessa Bruno outlet, Mui Mui Cafe, and On Friday Restaurant.[4]

It is also the location for the headquarters of K-pop entertainment agency S.M. Entertainment



3. 반포대교 분수 (Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain)


Banpo Bridge Rainbow Fountain is the world’s longest bridge fountain.

The fountain is programmed to play different shows during the day and night. During the day, the fountain shows a hundred different configurations meant to evoke waving willow branches and willow leaves. When the sun goes down, 200 lights illuminate the fountain as it sends up dancing, rainbow-colored jets of water in the air in synchronization with music.
